Domed-Shaped Tree House Accessed via a Winding Steel Staircase
We’ve seen some great modern tree house designs, especially from the German firm, baumraum. Here, they’ve crafted this particular structure around a large oak tree that sits 11 meters off the ground. It’s placed behind the owner’s residence and offers a not-too-far retreat if they wanted to get away from life on the ground.
Access to the tree house starts at the property’s garage; there’s a small door on its roof that leads to a steel spiral staircase. It ends at an opening built into the deck which is large enough to accommodate a table and chairs.
A domed-shaped interior features several windows including a skylight that provides ample natural light. The space is small but airy, with room for a double bed and window seat to take in the view. While this tree house might not have everything you’d need for a long term stay, it certainly would make for a comfortable night away with a house full of amenities close by.
