Six massive  industrial silos  on the Granville Island in Vancouver, Canada, have been wonderfully transformed into six vividly colored  giants  by Brazilian  graffiti  artist duo Os Gemeos. Octavio and Gustavo Pandolfo, the twin brothers behind Os Gemeos, dedicated roughly a month of their time to create this astonishing piece as part of the Vancouver Biennale.

The famous Brazilian artist Davi De Melo Santos aka DMS prefers to integrate into the surrounding streets, trying to fit into the existing urban street landscape.

British temporary duo called Irony + Boe has painted a lot of walls in the British capital. Their full nicknames are Whoam Irony and Placee Boe . Why did they chose the subject of animals isn’t very clear. After all, both of them paint in completely different fields. But, anyway, the temporary association turned out very successful.

We might be used to seeing murals on walls or even  shipping containers , but not so much on a boat. Spanish street artist Borondo recently had the opportunity to apply his signature style to a vessel traveling along the River Lee in East London. He created it in collaboration with Carmen Maín, and the work showcases an unexpected place for a large-scale painting that you can only see it if you’re looking down at the boat.

Most of us rush through our everyday lives without noticing the beautiful things around us. Dutch illustrator Tineke Meirink offers a creative and playful way of engaging with our surroundings – just stop and watch, she says. Her blog “Stop:Watch” tickles the imagination with a collection of simple street objects that she has given life to by adding a minimal digital illustration

Warsaw-based artist  NeSpoon  uses ornate lace patterns in her unique brand of street art that translates into ceramics, stencils, paintings, and crocheted webbing installed in public spaces. NeSpoon refers to her art as “public jewelry,” specifically as an act of beautification by turning abandoned and unadorned spaces into something aesthetically pleasing. You don’t need to be trained in arts to make creative urban interventions: French street artist OakoAk says he’s only a “pen pusher” by day, however his clever and playful street art ideas can be seen all over St. Etienne and different cities in France. Portugal ’s  street art  has really evolved over the years with an impressive number of artists, and you can see some of their work on websites like Stick2Target ,  Mr. Dheo , and  Underdogs . Carl Jara  aka  Grain Damaged  is an award-winning, professional sand sculptor from Cleveland, Ohio. Jara says he has known since high-school that he wanted to be an artist.
