They are climbing El Capitan, a 3,000-foot-tall granite monolith in Yosemite National Park in California. This monolith has been climbed many times before, but they are ascending the Dawn Wall route, a sheer face of rock considered by many to be the longest and hardest free climb in the world.

Now, the New York- and LA-based photographer is back with a sequel capturing the first moments of little puppies diving into the water for the first time. “ To create this series, I taught  swimming lessons  to over 1500 puppies, building their confidence in the water and helping them develop safety and survival skills, ” writes Casteel. “ Most of the puppies only swam for a few minutes and were not ready for pictures, but some decided to start jumping in on their own and chase after toys! “

Moscow - born artist   Yulia Brodskaya  creates stunningly intricate typography and illustrations out of  colored paper . Using only paper and glue, she cuts, quills and uses other paper art techniques to make extraordinary pieces of art. In 5 years the artist has created  more  than 100 projects, working with major brands like Nokia, Starbucks, and The New York Times Magazine.

Roberto Perez, better known as Rob the Original, is a San Antonio, Texas-based contemporary artist and hair stylist who uses his clients’ hair as his canvas. Perez, an excellent representative of the growing BarberArt movement, cuts, shaves, and dyes hair to create photo-realistic portraits, beautiful floral and geometrical patterns, or pretty much anything he himself or his confident clients can imagine.

For almost every day last month Malaysian artist/architect  Hong Yi  (who often goes by the nickname Red) created a fun illustration made with common (and occasionally not so common) food. Her parameters were simple: the image had to be comprised entirely of food and the only backdrop could be a white plate.
