John Lopez, a successful artist residing in South Dakota, creates unbelievable sculptures from scrap metal. Pieces of old farm machinery and equipment, musical instruments, chains and many other old metal objects found their way into Lopez’s huge rusty Western-themed animal sculptures, which include life-sized buffaloes and horses.

Jeep’s latest ad campaign might be indirect, but it is unquestionably creative. The three ads, featuring animal picture graphics, can be flipped over to reveal another animal hiding in the image of the first one. The message of the campaign, designed by the Lee Burnett advertisement agency in France, then claims: “See whatever you want to see.”

Bryan Dunn is a graphic designer, illustrator and loving father who regularly draws on his son’s brown lunch paper bags. The lucky kid recently finished first grade, which gave the dad a symbolic opportunity to revisit his amusing project and select his favorite illustrations from the past year.
